In the final season of this acclaimed HBO phantasy-drama, based on Philip Pullman’s best-selling trilogy, Lyra and Will journey through multiple worlds in search of answers about their pasts and the mysterious substance known as “Dust”. Meanwhile, Lyra’s mother (Ruth Wilson) is being held prisoner by Lord Asriel (James McAvoy), who is preparing for war on the Magisterium, eventually deciding the fate of the Multiverse.

Re-teaming with director Charles Martin, Petra shot two dramatically crucial episodes at Bad Wolf Studios as well as various locations in the UK. HIS DARK MATERIALS was photographed in Full Frame on the Sony Venice. The technically complex shooting style of this visual effects-heavy show gave Petra a chance to closely work with award-winning creature-creation pioneer Russell Dodgson.

Edinburgh International Film Festival winner THE ROAD DANCE is a period drama based on the novel of the same name. Set on a remote island in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland during the onset of WWI, the film tells the story of Kirstie (Hermione Corfield), a young village girl whose life takes a dramatic turn when a terrible tragedy befalls her.

Shot on location on the Outer Hebrides during the harsh and stormy winter months, Petra chose ALEXA with a mixture of Cooke and Kowa anamorphic lenses, and also operated the camera on this film.

Slated for release in March 2023.

Creator and showrunner Eric Heisserer (“Arrival”, “Birdbox”) and 21 Laps Entertainment (“Stranger Things”, “Arrival”) chose Petra to photograph season two’s opening episodes of this iconic phantasy epic for NETFLIX. In total, Petra shot four of the eight episodes. Shot in Large Format, she opted for ALEXA LF cameras and the recently designed, unique ALFA large format anamorphic lenses.

This NETFLIX Originals dramatic action-adventure miniseries is a UK/US adaptation of Tonke Dragt’s bestselling novel of the same name. Showrunner Will Davies (How to Train Your Dragon, Twins, Puss in Boots,…) adapted the material for the screen and produced together with Filmwave’s Paul Trijbits (Tulip Fever, Jane Eyre, Saving Mr Banks, …) and Chris Clark (All The Money in the World, Legend, Johnny English, Calvary,…).

We follow the young squire Tiuri with his group of Novices on an adventurous journey through three kingdoms, in a quest to save the kingdom from dark forces.

Photographed in large format on Panavision’s state-of-the-art 8K DLX2 cameras, with Panavision E- and T-series anamorphic lenses. Petra shot three of the six episodes in the studio in Prague as well as locations all over the Czech Republic.

This dark phantasy drama series for SKY1 is based on Deborah Harkness’ bestselling All Souls Trilogy. Starring Theresa Palmer and Matthew Goode, it is set in a world of witches, vampires and demons. Petra shot season one’s final three episodes of this high-profile show.

A historic drama set in the mid 19th and early 20th centuries, ZAYED retells the eventful life of Zayed I., founder of the United Arab Emirates.

UMRIKA, a coming of age story with both comedic and dramatic elements, tells the story of Ramakant, played by LIFE OF PI's Suraj Sharma. Starting with his 1970's childhood in a remote Indian village, the film shows Ramakant's journey as he sets out to find his older brother in the entrails of 1980's Mumbai.

UMRIKA was shot on Super 16mm film, on an elaborate set constructed in the Maharashtra mountains and on location in Mumbai, India. The film won the Audience Award in the World Dramatic category at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, and has been sold for theatrical release in over 30 countries.

Hip-hop infused coming-of-age film THE WACKNESS humorously chronicles high school graduate and drug dealer Luke Shapiro's last summer in New York City, as he tries to come to terms with the fact that his constantly arguing parents seem to have lost all the money that they meant to send him to college with. His best friend turns out to be his shrink, Dr Squires (masterfully portrayed by Sir Ben Kingsley), who exchanges therapy sessions for Luke's weed, and certainly does not approve of Luke's feelings for his stepdaughter Stephanie.

THE WACKNESS was shot on vintage Balthar lenses on Super 35mm film. Produced by Occupant Entertainment, the movie was released by Sony Picture Classics after taking home the Dramatic Audience Award at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.

MY SOUL TO TAKE was the first film since NIGHTMARE ON ELMSTREET that late legendary horror director Wes Craven penned himself. The story takes us to the small town of Riverton, where Adam "Bug" Heller is trying to save his friends from a serial killer, who, as legend claims, might have inhabited their souls.

Universal Pictures made the film under their Rogue and Focus divisions. The film was released in 3D. Craven's wife, Iya Labunka, produced together with Academy Award winning producer Anthony Katagas.

An adaptation for the screen from celebrated novelist Bret Easton Ellis, THE INFORMERS takes place in the dark Los Angeles show-biz drug subculture of the early 1980's. The drama features a star-studded ensemble cast with highlights such as Mickey Rourke, Winona Ryder, Kim Basinger, Billy-Bob Thornton, and Amber Heard. The story's interweaving plot-lines follow different morally dubious characters and their existentialist dilemmas.

THE INFORMERS was shot on Super 35mm film in Los Angeles and Uruguay.

TAKING IT BACK, aka DIE WERKSTÜRMER, is a comedic drama centered around a tightly knit group of Austrian steel factory workers who take a stand to fight back against the multi-national corporation wanting to shut down the steel plant that the entire region depends upon.

Photographed on Super 35mm film in the 2-perf format, the film was entirely shot on location in the Austrian province of Styria and Vienna. A box-office hit in Austria, TAKING IT BACK also took home the Audience Award at the Austin Film Festival 2014.

MINOTAURO marked Petra's feature film debut, and was shot on Super 16mm, in the Yucatan and Campeche provinces of Mexico. The drama, with elements of magic realism, is centered around the psychic bond of a twin brother and sister separated in childhood. The two reunite under dramatic circumstances as they try to protect each other from their mother's superstitions and Belizian arms smugglers sent by their father.

The film was produced independently and won Best Film at the Indie Spirit, as well as Best Foreign Feature at the Route 66 Film Festival 2008.
